Private Double Bass Lessons

Double Bass lessons are available with the teachers listed below and are open to students ages 12 and up. Instruction is tailored to each individual, using a curriculum that best supports the student’s goals and musical interests.

We also provide audition preparation for specialized programs such as ESA, Father John Redmond RAP, and other high schools, as well as Humber College and various university music programs.

Students must have access to their own double bass for at-home practice. We understand that transporting this instrument can be challenging, so we have a double bass available for use during lessons at KSM.

Students will also need double bass rosin and a method book. Once the teacher has met the student and assessed their needs, they will recommend the appropriate book. We take care of all book orders on your behalf, and materials will be charged to your account when confirmed.
