Charlee Wielgoz is a passionate performer and educator with over 17 years of experience on stage and more than 7 years of teaching. Holding a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Brandon University and a Master of Music in Performance from the University of Toronto, Charlee brings both academic excellence and deep artistic insight to their work.
Specializing in both classical and folk styles, including traditional fiddling, Charlee is committed to helping students build strong technical foundations while cultivating a sustainable, joyful relationship with music. Their teaching philosophy centers on the mind-body connection, with a focus on identifying thought patterns and addressing the inner critic. This approach fosters self-awareness, encourages curiosity, and supports meaningful musical growth.
Charlee creates a safe, welcoming environment where students of all ages and backgrounds feel empowered to explore their musical potential. Whether sparking a new passion or reigniting a long-lost love for music, Charlee’s goal is to help each student deepen their understanding of the multi-dimensional experience of playing.
A dedicated performer as well as a teacher, Charlee has been honored with solo appearances with the South Saskatchewan Youth Orchestra and the Brandon University Orchestra. Their versatile artistry spans genres, bridging the worlds of classical music and fiddle traditions with ease and authenticity.
